About James
Competent, versatile and creative Shooting Producer/Director, with over a decade of experience crafting television programmes for large streamers and all the major UK broadcasters in; factual, fact ents, documentary, obs-doc, and reality programming, including household names: Countryfile, Slavage Hunters and Grand Designs.
Recognised for my strong directing skills, exceptional camera work and ability to drive narrative, I am extremely versatile at adapting to any situation whilst obtaining compelling and authentic content from all variety of contributors.
I regularly work with high-calibre on-screen talent and presenters and am known to be extremely personable. I am highly experienced leading small teams on location and directing crew when necessary.
I shoot on and own the latest camera tech including Sony’s FX9 and FX3 full frame cameras and DJI Drones (Operator A2 Certified). I also have pro audio, lighting and grip equipmet.
